9 Calibration and Maintenance
Calibration of ES601-US by a Datrend Authorized Service facility is recommended on an
annual
basis, and
is
required
to extend the product warranty. The basic one (1) year warranty can be extended to a maximum
of five (5) years provided that annual calibration is performed by a Datrend Authorized Service Center on
an
annual basis. Refer to the Calibration Decal applied to the rear panel of the unit to determine calibration
status of your ES601-US.
ES601-US contains no user serviceable parts, other than two 1 Amp/250V AGC fuses located on the back
panel. Certain functions of ES601-US are internally fused (isolated AC supply on patient leads, internal
voltmeter). Failure of these functions will require return of ES601-US to an authorized service facility for
repair.
Opening the case of ES601-US for any reason will void the warranty and may compromise
user safety.
For calibration or service assistance, contact Datrend for a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number
and the location of the nearest Service Facility.

ES601-US should be cleaned with a soft, lint free, damp cloth using a mild detergent. Use of other cleaning
agents on the touch screen may result in scratching, discolouration, streaking or even failure.
Electrical safety protection of the operator may be compromised if the
instructions in this manual are not followed, or if ES601-US is used for a
purpose not specified in this manual.
