8.12.3 Modifying Options
The CMMS Interface provides user-selectable options that determine how medTester checkitems created
within the CMMS are converted into checkitems for the ES601-US analyzer. To open the Options window
of the CMMS Interface, click the "Options" button.
8.12.3.1 Download Checkitems Option
The Options dialog ( Figure 140 )provides a checkbox designated as: "Download ES601 checkitems before
exporting CMMS checkitems". If this box is checked, the plugin will download the Checkitem Database
currently stored in the memory of the ES601-US, immediately before it opens the MTEXPORT data from
the CMMS. The purpose of this option is to make sure that certain AutoSequence data stored in the safety
analyzer is correctly preserved before the export process modifies the Checkitem Database in the analyzer.
As such data preservation is essential to successful conversion, the safest option is to always leave this box
checked. The consequence is that the conversion process will require a few seconds longer to complete due
to the download time. If you are already certain that AutoSequence-related Checkitems in the ES601-US are
synchronized with ES601pc-US, then the preliminary download operation is unnecessary and this box can
then be unchecked.
