patient leads can be arbitrarily assigned to the five Groups provided by ES601-US.
Sequence Control
settings,
programmable as part of each AutoSequence setup, provide means for introducing variable time delays in
the sequence, and for breaking the sequence at specific steps to allow the user to operate the "ON/OFF"
power switch of the DUT. Other Sequence Control settings enable specific features within the ground
resistance test, such as multiple resistance measurements or point-to-point testing.
ES601-US is shipped from the Datrend factory with 24 default Safety AutoSequences programmed into its
memory. These default sequences are useful for testing many typical devices such as patient monitors,
defibrillators, electrosurgical units, infusion pumps and other electromedical equipment. However, the
defaults can easily be modified to suit the particular needs of the user's equipment inventory using the editor
menus provided by ES601-US, or by means of ES601pc-US software.
