WARNING:
If testing insulation resistance of patient leads, HIGH VOLTAGE (500 VDC) will be output from the
AP jacks for a few seconds during the test.
The high voltage is internally current-limited to 2 milliamperes maximum. Unterminated leads attached to
the AP jacks therefore present a minor, non-lethal shock hazard to the careless user.
Always take care to make proper electrical connections to the DUT before starting an insulation
resistance test. Disconnect all unused leads or cables from the AP jacks on ES601-US.
After approximately two seconds, the measurement result in megohms is displayed:
On the insulation test result screen, select one of these three options:
