8.9.3 Editing a Checklist
Begin editing by double-clicking on a Checklist in the Library, or highlight a Checklist and press the "Edit
Checklist" button. If desired, a blank Checklist can be created by selecting an item and pressing the "Clear
Checklist" button, followed by "Edit Checklist" to open the Checklist Editor window.
On the Checklist Editor screen ( Figure 116 ), controls are provided for modifying the Title, Tester Port
Number (1 to 6) and Tester Port Baud Rate (2400 to 19200 baud). If the Checklist does not issue remote
control commands to externally connected test instruments, then the Tester Port can be set to "unused" and
the Baud Rate left blank. Items from the Checkitem Database, listed in the table on the left, can be added to
and removed from the Checklist on the right by using the appropriate buttons in the center margin of the
screen.
All Checkitems can be removed from the Checklist by pressing the "Clear" button in the center margin.
Checklist contents can be re-ordered by selecting the desired Checkitem in the Checklist and using the "Up"
or "Down" arrows below the column to move the selected item up or down. The selected item can be
moved to the top or bottom of the Checklist by using the Double Up or Down arrows. The "Print" button
opens a standard Windows Print dialog, allowing the Checklist on the right to be sent to a printer.
