For IEC62353 and VDE0751 safety standards, the test condition for the leakage results may be shown as
"ALTERNATIVE METHOD", if the Alternative Method of device leakage or patient leakage testing was
selected by the user for the test. Consult these standards for further information on the Alternative Method
of measurement and its applicability.
In the Test Record, supplementary or optional test conditions for leakage measurement are reported in
parentheses "( )". Depending on the safety standard, the type of leakage measurement, and the
supplementary conditions enabled by the user for the test, mnemonics appearing in brackets may be as
follows:
--- No supplementary condition
(condition not applicable to test, or condition not enabled by user)
ON DUT power switch in "ON" position
OFF DUT power switch in "OFF" position
LDO All patient leads disconnected from ground
LDG All patient leads connected to ground
IOS Isolated signal inputs/outputs connected to AC supply
IOG Isolated signal inputs/outputs connected to ground
ME Exposed floating metal parts connected to ground
