6.1.5.7 The M Checkitem

The Multi-Function or

M

Checkitem can:

•

switch the test receptacle of ES601-US on or off;

•

cause the ES601-US ECG simulator to output a selected waveform; or

•

send a command to an external medical device analyzer or "tester", causing the tester to return a
measurement value or a test result, which will then be displayed on the LCD of ES601-US.

Test receptacle and ECG simulator control are achieved through use of the following predefined commands
with the M op code:
