8.9.4.3 Entering the Command/Prompt
Op Codes P, E, K and I will allow editing or entering a
Prompt
. The Prompt is the text which ES601-US
will display when this step of the Autosequence is encountered (see
Automated Testing Principles
in
Chapter 6). In principle, the Prompt is intended to ask the technician to enter "OK", "PASS", "FAIL"
comments or results such as “RF LEAKAGE IS 248 UA” and so on, which will then be saved in the Test
Record.
Op Codes C, M, D and R will, in addition to the Prompt, allow editing or entering a
Command
. The
Command is used to transmit a message via a TESTER PORT to an external testing device, for example a
patient simulator such as Datrend AMPS-1, to start or stop a function, send measurement data, etc. For
more information, refer to the Checkitem descriptions given in
Automated Testing Principles
of Chapter
6.
