6.1.2 ECG AutoSequences

ES601-US provides six programmable ECG AutoSequences, each with up to 24 waveform/amplitude steps.
As the ECG AutoSequence is executed, simulator waveform, amplitude scale, and pass/fail result for each
sequence step are stored. When the sequence is completed, a Record of the ECG test may then be saved to
the flash memory.

ES601-US is supplied with one of its ECG AutoSequences configured, the other five AutoSequences being
blank and available to the user for programming as required. ECG AutoSequences can be edited and
uploaded to ES601-US by means of the ECG AutoSequence module of the ES601pc-US software package.
Editing of ECG AutoSequences is described in Chapter 8.

Selecting

ECG SIMULATOR AUTOSEQUENCE

from the AUTOMATED TESTS menu opens the

ECG AutoSequence menu. Press the appropriate button to invoke the desired ECG AutoSequence, or
press

BACK

to return to the AUTOMATED TESTS menu.

As with all automated tests performed by ES601-US, selecting an ECG AutoSequence from the menu will
cause the EQUIPMENT INFO menu to be displayed. A control number and other equipment information
may be optionally entered at this point. Press the

RUN TEST

button to start the ECG test. Prompts for

equipment physical inspection may be displayed, according to System Settings. Refer to Section 6.1
