LABEL PRINTER
SETUP:
A Dymo SE300 LabelWriter printer may be connected to the RS-232 Port of
ES601-US, which will allow printing of adhesive labels which are sometimes
referred to as "PM Tags". The PM Tag is applied to the tested equipment,
identifying the equipment as fit for use and a date when the next PM inspection is
due. The LABEL PRINTER SETUP button enters a menu for configuring the
PM Tag printer. Options on this menu are:
PRINT LABEL:
Enables printing of a PM Tag upon completion of an
autosequence or checklist, after the Test Record has been
saved to the memory of ES601-US.
EDIT TITLE:
Displays the QWERTY keypad, allowing the user to enter
the title which appears at the top of the printed label.
Typically, this would be the name of the institution which
owns the equipment.
NEXT TEST IN:
These increment/decrement buttons allow adjustment of
the "PM interval" for the equipment tested. The "PM DUE"
date which is printed on the PM Tag is obtained by adding
this value to the current date from the ES601-US clock.
TEST PRINT:
Outputs a sample PM Tag to a Dymo model SE300 printer
connected to the RS-232 Port of ES601-US.
BACK:
Save changes and return to the System Settings menu.
The above settings are defaults, which may be modified by the user at the time the
PM Tag is actually printed.
