8.7.2 Uploading Safety Limits

To upload safety limits to ES601-US, press the “Upload To ES601" button. Choose either uploading via
USB, Ethernet, or Serial Port, and then press "Connect". If the connection is via ethernet, enter the IP
address assigned to ES601-US (the IP address of ES601-US is displayed on the LCD when the analyzer is
operating in Ethernet Mode). If the connection is via serial port, choose the COM port to which the ES601-
US is connected (see

Figure 108

, under Safety AutoSequence).

After pressing "Connect", a message box with a transfer progress bar will appear (

AutoSequences). After the transfer is completed, a Transfer Complete message will appear and the message
box will disappear .

8.7.3 Downloading Safety Limits

Sometimes it is desirable to bring data stored in the ES601-US back into your PC. This way, you can
transfer setups from one ES601-US analyzer to another.

You can retrieve safety limits stored in a ES601-US by pressing the "Download From ES601" button.
Choose to download via USB, Ethernet, or Serial Port. Doing so will overwrite the safety limits which are
maintained by ES601pc-US.

These safety limits can then be uploaded to a different ES601-US, or they can be optionally modified and
uploaded to the same ES601-US unit, or additional ES601-US units.
