EXCLUSIVE HOLD - D

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This service feature allows a station user to place a call on hold and to exclude all other station users
from retrieving the held call.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
1. Depress
Hold
key twice; the LCD displays “
E-HOLD
”.
2. To return to the held call, depress the held line key; conversation is re-established.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. EXCLUSIVE HOLD may be activated from any line appearing on a D
term
.
2. After EXCLUSIVE HOLD has been set, the user can make or answer calls from any other line appear-
ing on the D
term
.
3. Only the D
term
that sets EXCLUSIVE HOLD may retrieve the held call.
4. After a variable, programmable period of time, the held call will be automatically recalled regardless of
the status of the D
term
.
5. The LCD of other D
term
on which the held line appears will give a steady display.
6. The held station is denied the following services:
a. ATTENDANT CAMP-ON WITH INDICATION
b. ATTENDANT OVERRIDE
c. BUSY VERIFICATION
d. BOSS-SECRETARY OVERRIDE-D

e. CALL WAITING-TERMINATING
f.
CALL WAITING-ORIGINATING
g. EXECUTIVE RIGHT OF WAY
