CALL WAITING DISPLAY
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
When one or more calls are waiting to be answered, this feature provides a display of the number of
waiting calls on the Attendant Console.

OPERATING PROCEDURES
No manual operation is required.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. When there are any incoming calls to the Attendant Console that have not yet been answered, the
“
CW
” (Call Waiting) will show on the LCD (without flashing).
2. The CALL WAITING DISPLAY can be set to flash only after “X” number of calls are waiting (X:
1~48). The number of waiting calls (1~48) can be changed by system data. The number of waiting
calls (1 to 96 calls) will display next to “
CW
” on the LCD.
3. When multiple consoles are installed, and tenant service is provided, the CALL WAITING DISPLAY
will show on all consoles assigned to the same tenant group.
4. The following types of unanswered incoming calls to an Attendant Console are counted as calls wait-
ing:
•
LDN
- Listed Directory Number (LDN) Calls
•
ATND
- Operator dialed (“0”) calls
•
RCL
- Operator recall calls
•
TIE
- Tie Line calls
•
BUSY
- CALL FORWARDING-BUSY calls to operator
•
NANS
- CALL FORWARDING-DON’T ANSWER calls to operator
•
TF
- INTER-POSITION TRANSFER/CALLING between operators
•
ICPT
- CALL FORWARDING-INTERCEPT calls
•
CALL FORWARDING-ALL CALLS to operator
5. An audible indication is provided when “
CW
” displays unless the operator is on a loop or unless the
volume control has been set to silence the buzzer.
