BELTS
CHECK THE MOVEMENT OF THE BELTS WHILE THEY ARE WORKING:
•
The machine must be set up for a hard bale core, standing on flat ground and with the tailgate closed well
with the side hooks.
•
Engage the power take-off at low speed and watch the movement of the belts in relation to the guides from a
position behind the machine.
If the belts shift towards the right, make the adjustment to position "R1" (on the right side), as follows:
1) Open the tailgate slightly in order to loosen the belts
Move the adjustment point "R1" to a position that allows adjustment to be done more easily.
WARNING!
CRUSHING HAZARD.
POTENTIAL SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH.
Lock the tailgate by moving the lever located on the valve block to the locked
position (lock closed).
IMPORTANT!
When the work is finished remove the safety lock of the tailgate before closing it.
•
Stop the machine and wait for all the moving parts to stop.
•
Turn off the tractor engine and remove the keys from the dashboard.
•
To avoid accidents caused by unexpected movements, firmly place the machine on firm, flat and
horizontal ground, and blocked it by operating the mechanical parking device.
2) Loosen the screw "A" (right side) and screw in or out the lock nuts "d" of the stretcher so as to lower the
extreme right of the roller; then screw back the screw "A" and the lock nuts "d".
3) Make sure that there are no persons near the machine (if there are keep them away) and start the tractor
again; unlock the tailgate safety lock by moving the lever to its original position and close the tailgate again.
4) Start the tractor and engage the power take-off at idle speed to check the movement of the belts again.
Repeat the adjustment at points 1, 2, 3 and 4 until the right adjustment has been made.
Se le cinghie tendono a spostarsi verso sinistra, eseguite le stesse operazioni ma dal lato sinistro.
