TROUBLESHOOTING
These tables summarise the most probable and recurring problems that you may encounter while working.
However, if the solutions suggested do not resolve the problem please contact your Dealer or our
Assistance Service directly. They will be able to provide you with the technical advice necessary for
resolving the problem.
POWER FEED
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Tines of the pick-up throw up the
forage. Pick-up speed too high compared to
the work speed. Increase the work speed.
Reduce the rpm of the tractor PTO.
The tines of the pick-up overtake the
forage arriving. Pick-up speed too slow compared to
the work speed. Reduce the work speed.
Increase the rpm of the tractor PTO.
The pick-up does not collect over the
entire swathe. The swathe is too wide. Reform the swathe by making it
narrower.
The pick-up does not collect on flat
swathes. The pick-up is too high. Lower the pick-up using the selector
of the tractor.
Adjust the position of the pick-up
support wheels.
The pick-up slips and stops. Too low pick-up: tines touch the
ground Raise the pick-up by adjusting the
position of the support wheels.
Too heavy windrow with humid tangles Reduce the volume of the swathe by
half.
The safety bolt is broken. Replace the safety bolt.
Insufficient gathering of the product. Tines of the pick-up ruined or missing. Replace the tines.
Adjust the cam of the pick-up.
The loading bars do not signal the
correct information. sensor not adjusted. Regulate the sensitivity of the sensor.
CARDAN SHAFT
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
Clutch slipping. Bale too heavy or too big diameter. Reduce bale weight or diameter.
Clutch disks worn out. Replace disks (Follow the instructions
provided on cardan shaft manual).
Safety bolt breaks down. Bale too heavy or too big diameter. Reduce bale weight or diameter.
Cam safety device continuously trips. Bale too heavy or too big diameter. Reduce bale weight or diameter.
