REPLACEMENT OF THE PICK-UP TINES
WARNING!
DANGER OF GETTING CAUGHT IN MOVING PARTS OF THE MACHINE.
POTENTIAL CRUSHING OR SHEARING OF THE LIMBS.
POTENTIAL SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH.
If the pick-up tines, mounted on the roll-holder of the pick-up, have to be replaced:
•
Stop the tractor,
•
remove the keys from the dashboard,
•
wait for all the moving parts of the machine to stop completely.
•
Switch off the control system.
•
To avoid accidents caused by unexpected movements, firmly place the machine on firm, flat and
horizontal ground, and that it is blocked (mechanical parking device).
•
Loosen the screws "V” which fix the band "F"
corresponding to the tine to be replaced and then
pull out the band, passing the head of the screws
"V" through the hole of the slot located on the band.
•
Unscrew the bolt "B", remove the tine "D" and the
related block "T".
•
Replace the pick-up tine "D" with a new one of the
same type.
•
Screw back the block "T" and the bolt “B”.
Tighten the bolt “B” respecting the tightening
value of 34Nm (25.07ft-lb).
•
Replace the band "F" inserting it over the screws "V"
and then push it all the way against the screw.
•
Finally screw back the screws "V" with a
tightening value of 15Nm (11.06ft-lb).
