MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENT

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE

IMPORTANT!

All operations described below must be performed at the beginning and end of each season.
Regular careful maintenance lengthens the life of your machine and guarantees your personal safety.

WARNING!

DANGER OF GETTING CAUGHT IN MOVING PARTS OF THE MACHINE.
POTENTIAL CRUSHING OR SHEARING OF THE LIMBS.
POTENTIAL SERIOUS INJURIES OR DEATH.
Before doing any maintenance on the machine:

•

Keep in mind all the basic safety rules contained in the chapter “GENERAL SAFETY REGULATIONS”.

Do maintenance work only with the machine off and all the moving parts completely still:

•

Always turn off the tractor and remove the keys from the dashboard.

•

Always switch off the “ICON” system.

•

Never raise the machine from the ground.

Prearrange maintenance work for which the due dates are known.

IMPORTANT!

This manual is of a purely informative nature. The periods between maintenance operations are for normal
working conditions of the round baler therefore if the round baler is used in more sever conditions it is logical to
increase the frequency of maintenance.

ATTENZIONE!

If you should need to perform maintenance with the machine hatch open or inside
the bale forming chamber, block the hatch using the lever found on the hatch
closing safety device valve in the standstill position (closed lock).
Always comply with safety regulations when the hatch is open.
Close the hatch when you move away from the machine.
Follow the instru TAILGATE SAFETY LOCK DEVICE”.

IMPORTANT!

Remember to disengage the tailgate safety device by turning the leve to its original
position before closing the tailgate!

Do the maintenance work exactly as indicated in this manual and have any worn or
damaged parts replaced by specialised personnel.
