BOLT TIGHTENING
All the screwed/bolted assemblies must be tightened according to the values contained in the table “TORQUE
WRENCH SETTINGS”, unless stated otherwise.
FOR THIS MACHINE THE VALUE "8.8" REPRESENTS THE STANDARD AND THE MINIMUM QUALITY
USED.
Diameter and torque wrench settings for the quality of the materials according to DIN ISO 898.
•
Check if all the bolts are correctly tightened after the first three hours of work.
•
Check if all the screws and bolts are correctly tightened after the first 10 bales formed by the machine
IMPORTANT!
Retighten the screws fixing the drawbar frame and
the towing eye yearly, according to the tightening
torque indicated on the decal applied to the drawbar
and provided below:
Tighten both M24 screws to 1150Nm (850ft-lb).
IMPORTANT!
•
Check the torque of the nuts on the stud bolts of the wheel
hubs regularly. It should be 250Nm (185ft-lb).
•
Periodically check the torque value of the screws that fix the
bands to the frame of the pick-up which must be 15Nm
(11.06ft-lb).
•
Periodically check the torque value of the bolt that fixes the
collecting tine, which must be 34Nm (25.07ft-lb).
