EMERGENCY BRAKE
The hydraulic braking system is equipped with an emergency brake which in cases of:
accidental detachment of the equipment from the tractor,
detachment of the electrical connection from the towing vehicle,
detachment of the coupling joint,
power failure in the electrical connection,
the pressure in the supplementary line drops below 12 bar (174.12 psi),
it generates the automatic activation of the brakes using the energy stored inside the hydraulic accumulator.
In case of accidental detachment of the equipment from the tractor, the steel cable, connected to the joint and the
valve block, tending to release the connection from the tractor (avoiding damage to the system and oil leaks),
interrupting the circuit and automatically activating the brakes.
Make sure that the metal cable, supplied together with the double-line joint, is correctly connected to the housing
provided on the valve and that its length is slightly less 20 30 cm) than that of the hydraulic hoses that connect
the joint to the valve.
