DEVICES AGAINST UNAUTHORISED USE
The round baler can be fitted with a device against unauthorised use, to be used at the end of the work shift,
during parking or during downtime, to prevent it from being hooked to a tractor and reducing the risk of
unauthorised use.
Devices against unauthorised use can consist of:
CHAIN WITH PADLOCK
Wrap the chain inside the hole of the drawbar eye.
COLLAR WITH PADLOCK
Place the collar inside the hole of the drawbar eye.
In both cases, close the padlock with the key.
Keep the key in a safe place.
To use the round baler, remove the device against unauthorised use before attaching the round baler to the towing
hook of the tractor.
ANTI-SPIKE DEVICE
The round baler is fitted with an anti-spike device, which, in the event of the
main device being unhooked, as the eye falls to the ground, prevents it
from slipping instead of dropping straight to the ground and a certain
residual driving capacity of the towed vehicle is guaranteed.
SAFETY CHAIN
The chain must stop the steering head from hitting the ground in the
event that the baler accidentally becomes removed from the tractor.
