KNIVES REMOVAL
To remove the knives they must be disengaged, doing this directly from the terminal of the “ICON” control system.
To facilitate removal of the knives, lower the tape through the “ICON” control system terminal and tractor selector
lever.
More information relative to the engagement or disengagement of the knives can be found under “ICON
CONTROL SYSTEM / MAIN MENU / MANUAL MODE”.
•
Release the knives by moving the handle located on the right
side of the machine, to position “knives off” (lever lowered).
•
Enter the bale formation chamber and take hold of the knives
to be removed at the tip then lift and pull them out.
To extract them more easily you can rotate the rotor
manually proceeding with caution.
IMPORTANT!
It is necessary to put false knives in the place of the knives
removed so that the product does block up the seats of the
knives and make it difficult to replace the knives later..
