Notes
•
To minimize the backpressure applied to the sample syringe pump,
use the largest ID tubing possible to make the injection loop.
•
If a 1.5 mL vial is used, the maximum loop size is 500
μ
L and the
maximum injection volume is 1100 μ L, regardless of the syringe size.
•
For syringes that are 1,000 μ L or smaller, the maximum loop size and
injection volume requires the syringe to aspirate from the sample vial
multiple times. This can result in reduced precision. For maximum
precision, use a loop size and injection volume that require only a
single sample aspiration.
