Xgig Analyzer User’s Guide

Show/Hide Ordered Sets Button
Press this button to toggle between
show and hide of ordered sets.
Hiding ordered sets can narrow your
data display when you only need to
look at frames or packets. Use the
pull-down menu to set options.
Show Overlapping Data Button
Press this button to toggle between
showing overlapping data only and
showing all data in the trace.
Showing overlapping data only can
narrow your view to critical sections
when viewing large traces.
Next and Previous Event Buttons
Use these buttons to search
backward (up) or forward (down)
from the current location in the
trace file. The buttons search for
events that meet the search
parameters set up in the Detailed
Find/Filter/Color dialog Find tab.
Apply Filters Button
Once the filter is set up, use
this button to toggle between
applying and removing the
filter. Filters are set up through
the Filter tab of the Detailed
Find/Filter/Color dialog.
Quick Filter Button
Use this button to
enable or disable
Quick Filter conditions.
Select Quick Filter List
from the Tools menu to
see the current list of
Quick Filters.
Show/Hide OOB Button
Use this button to show/
hide Out-of-Band data for
SAS/SATA. Use the
pull-down menu to set
options.
Quick Hide Button
Use this button to enable
or disable Quick Hide
conditions. Select Quick
Hide List from the Tools
menu to see the current
list of Quick Hides.
Filter Events Button
This button brings up the Detailed
Find/Filter/Color window. The
Detailed Find/Filter/Color window
allows you to set up complex
searches, filters, and color
modifications. Click and drag
templates from the browser to one
of the tabs to set up the conditions
for your search or filter.
Zoom In/Out
Decrease or increase the
font size of the display in
the event grid.
MUX Button
The MUX button
toggles the display
between showing
MUXed physical ports
together and showing
logical ports together. If
ports are not MUXed,
this button is not
available.
