System Bus
Terminal Socket
Each keystation (Master and Standard) must be connected to the
system bus by means of the supplied 2.5 metre cord (six conductors).
This must be inserted in the bus terminal socket attached to the power
plug.
The system bus terminal socket also provides connection for External
Music On Hold in the case of the master station and an external ringer
in the case of the standard station. Refer to the Music On Hold section
on page 3-15 and the External Ringer on page 3-17 for further details
on these options.
Extending
Keystation Power
Connection
If a mains outlet is not available near the keystation, the maximum
distance from a keystation to the mains power can be increased by up to
20 metres. This is achieved by attaching a second terminal socket (as
shown on the following pages).
