Phase 1 Switch hook Spring Replacement 749/46
Since the release of Phase 1 Version of Commander i Master & Standard stations, it has been
established that the Switch hook Springs on some stations can lose their tension and cause
problems with calls going into handsfree. If the spring is not strong enough to achieve full
movement of the switch hook then contact on the circuit board is not made, if the line key is
pressed in this state a call will go into handsfree automatically because the System will recognise
the Switch hook as Onhook (hung up).
The Phase 2 Stations have an improved compression spring that can be fitted to the Phase 1
Stations (Master & Standard). The spring is now available in packs of 20 with the Serial and Item
number of 749/46.
Warning
:
IF MASTER STATION 1 OR 2 ARE BEING MODIFIED THE SYSTEM WILL NOT
FUNCTION CORRECTLY UNTIL THE STATIONS ARE RECONNECTED.
