Example: the following connection diagram shows:

A system consisting of 5 stations and one AFU.
•
Wired as an extended star through a central MDF.
•
Master station number 1 is within 10 metres of the centre of the
star.
•
The end of all branches longer than 10 metres are terminated with
200 ohms.
•
Stations 4 and 5 are connected on the same branch of the star (only
end unit is terminated).
