Star Configurations
There can be two types of star wiring:
•
Basic star - where all keystations and AFUs are located within 60
metres of the central wiring point.
•
Extended star- where the leg lengths can be extended to a maximum
of 150 metres and the master stations must be within 10 metres of
the centre.
