pressing the [Recall] key on a keystation or by dialling 1 when using a
single line telephone. (Note: An approved door unlock must be
provided by the customer).
Music-On-Hold
(MOH)
There are three types of MOH available on the system:
•
Simple chimes
•
Internal MOH - 32 seconds of continuous digitised music
•
External MOH interface
Internal MOH is available as an optional daughter board which plugs
into the PSTN Master Station printed board assembly.
External MOH can be connected to each master station in the system
via an approved Line Isolation Unit (LIU).
External Paging
Interface
Note:
The external paging interface has not been formally released
by Telstra at the time of publication.
An external paging interface is available as an option which allows the
system to be connected to an external paging amplifier system via an
approved Line Isolation Unit (LIU).
Battery Back-Up
Note:
The battery backup unit has not been formally released by
Telstra at the time of publication.
Battery back-up is available as an option for each individual keystation
via an add-on unit installed in series with the keystation bus. Back-up
time of approximately two (2) hours is provided. The back-up unit
contains one rechargeable 6V, 1.2 AH battery.
To have access to exchange lines and system features in the event of
power failure the master stations must be connected to the battery
back-up unit.
