05: Installation Programming
The following procedures can only be carried out after the installation
password is entered.
To Gain Access to the Installation Sub Menus:
•
Press [i]
•
Dial the four digit Installation password and press [i] to confirm. The
first Installation sub menu is displayed
•
To scroll up and down the sub menus use the [*] and [#] keys.
Alternatively, dial the sub menu number (01 - 19).
01i Number of
Stations
The current number of master and standard keystations connected to
the system is displayed. This does not include any standard tone
telephone devices connected to AFUs.
The Default setting is: 8
To Change the Number of Stations:
•
Press [i] to display the > prompt.
•
Dial the number of stations assigned to DSS keys.
•
Press [i] to confirm.
If the number dialled is less than 8, all icons for any unassigned DSS
Keys are deactivated. Conversely, if the number of assigned stations
dialled is greater than the number of stations actually installed, then
all icons for the excess DSS keys are activated.
02i Number of AFU
Ports
The current number of AFU Ports connected to standard tone
telephone devices is displayed.
The Default setting is: 4
To change the Number of AFU Ports:
•
Press [i] to display the > prompt.
•
Dial the number of AFUs ports
0
No AFU ports (No AFUs)
