Description
Outer fixing screws M8 cylindrical head screw in accordance
with ISO 1207/ISO 1580
(DIN 84/DIN 85)
Select the screw length to match
your setup.
You also need 8.4 mm washers
according to ISO 7092 (DIN 433)
M8 hexagonal head screw according to
ISO 4017 (DIN 4017)
Grounding cable
Insulated cable, conductor cross-
section: min. 4 mm

You also need an M8 ring cable lug
and an M8 spring lock washer
Mounting the rack and connecting functional ground (FG)
1.
If necessary, mark the mounting holes on the mounting base, then drill holes with a
diameter of 8.5 mm
±0.2
mm.
2.
Screw-mount (M8 screws) the rack onto the carrier.
3.
Strip the grounding conductor and functional ground (FG) (Cu braid, for example), then
crimp on an M8 ring cable lug.
4.
Fasten the grounding conductor using one of the bore holes of the rack: Slip the spring
lock washer, the washer and the cable lug onto the mounting screw, then screw the rack
onto the carrier.
5.
Connect the opposite end of the grounding cable to ground potential.
Note
Ensure adequate equipotential bonding.
