5.4.1 DISASSEMBLING THE X-RAY POWER UNIT FROM THE ARM
Follow the steps below to dismount the X-ray Unit from the Arm.
1. Fully extend the Arm, then lay down the Trolley, with the cassettes basket
resting on the floor, and leave the Power Unit face up on a table or similar
(this will avoid the arm to push up when removing the X-Ray Power Unit).
The X-ray Power Unit can be disassembled from the Arm in two
different ways:
1) The manufacturer recommendation is removing the four (4)
fixing screws from the “U” shaped support at the Arm end (refer
to step 2.).
2) Removing the two (2) special screws from the “U” shaped
support at both sides of the Power Unit (refer to step 3.).
