It is used to adjust the size of screen grid line. The step size adjusted using the step key or the rotary
knob is 1 dB.
[Scale Log Line]
Select the vertical axis scale type as logarithmic or linear scale. The unit type can be selected from [Amp
Unit] .
[Amp Unit]
Select the unit of the vertical axis, and the unit of the vertical axis includes [dBm], [dBmV], [dBuV], [Volts],
[Watts].
[Pre Amp Off On]
It is used to turn the preamplifier on or off.

A soft menu for setting the bandwidth and average pops up, including [RBW Auto Man], [VBW Auto Man],
[Avg Off On], [Detector Auto Man], [SPAN /RBW], [RBW/VBW].
[RBW Auto Man]
Adjust the resolution bandwidth with the range from 1Hz to 5MHz. In manual mode, use the numeric
keys, step keys or rotary knob to change the resolution bandwidth, and the step keys and the rotary knob
change in steps of 1, 3, and 10. In automatic mode, the SPAN/RBW ratio changes based on the change
of span. 1kHz and below resolution bandwidth IF filter adopts FFT mode, but sweep time is not allowed
to be manually set, 3kHz and above resolution bandwidth IF filter adopts FIR mode, and sweep time can
be set manually.
[VBW Auto Man]
Adjust the video bandwidth with the range from 1Hz to 5MHz. In manual mode, use the numeric keys,
step keys or rotary knob to change the video bandwidth, and the step keys and the rotary knob change in
steps of 1, 3, and 10. In the automatic mode, the RBW/VBW ratio changes based on the change of
resolution bandwidth. If the video bandwidth is greater than the resolution bandwidth, the filtering is
invalid.
[Ave Off On]
Turn the averaging function on or off, and the traces are continuously averaged to achieve a smooth
trace. If the average is off, “Average Off” will be displayed on the left side of the screen, and “Average
On” will be displayed when opening. The average number of times is set from 1 to 1,000.
[Detector Auto Man]
The soft menu of detector pops up, and detector include: automatic, normal, positive peak, sampling,
negative peak, mean, root mean square. Detector is displayed on the left side of the screen.
[Auto]
The detector is automatically set according to different test functions.
[Normal]
Set the detector to the normal detection mode (default mode). In this mode, when noise is detected, the
measurement results of positive and negative peaks are displayed simultaneously to achieve a similar
display effect to the analog instrument. However, only positive peak is displayed when the signal is
detected.
[PosPeak]
Set the detector to positive peak detection mode, which enables to detect positive peak levels in the
trace.
[Sample]
Set the detector to sample detection mode, which is typically used for the noise marker function.
[NegPeak]
