Saving and recalling measurements
The microwave analyzer can save the setting status and measurement data to the internal memory,
external USB disk or SD card, and recall the setting status and measurement data of the instrument from
the internal memory, external USB disk or SD card.
a) Press [File]→[Save State] to save current instrument state to the storage;
b) Press [File]→[Recall Status >]→[State File] to pop up a state file list showing all state files saved in
the storage, and select relevant file for instrument setting quickly. For example, to select the set
state of the last one before startup or the default system status, press [File]→[Recall Status>]→[Last
State] or [Default State]

c) Press [File]→[Save Trace>], press the menu item to select relevant trace saving format (including,
s1p data, s2p data and csv data), enter the file name in the pop-up dialog box, and press [OK] to
save current sweep trace data to the storage;
d) Press [File]→[Recall Trace>] to pop up a data list showing all data files saved in the storage (trace
format), and select relevant data file to recall the data from the data file to the memory for display
and comparison.
e) Press [File]→[Print Screen] to save the display area on the screen in the jpg format, edit the file
name to be saved, and press [OK] to complete the saving.
f)
Press [File]→[File Mgmnt] to copy or delete the file.
g) Press [File]→[Location Int>] to set the saving medium to be the internal FLASH, external USB or SD
card.

Set sweep frequency
The frequency of the S5105D/E/F microwave analyzer in the VNA mode can be set via the following
two methods:
Set start and stop frequencies
a) Press

→[Start Freq]

b) Enter the start frequency value via the figure key, and press the touchscreen to select the frequency
unit.
c) Press [Stop Freq];
d) Enter the stop frequency value via the figure key, and press the touchscreen to select the frequency
unit.
Set center frequency and span
a) Press

→[Center Freq]

b) Enter the center frequency with the figure key, and select the frequency unit on the touch screen.
c) Press [Span];
d) Enter the span value via the figure key, and press the touchscreen to select the span unit.
