Set Sweep Frequency
There are two ways to set the frequency in the antenna and cable test mode of S5105D/E/F
microwave analyzer:
Set start and stop frequencies
a) Press
【

→ [Start Freq] ;
b) Enter the start frequency with the figure key, and select the frequency unit on the touch screen;
c) Press [Stop Freq];
d) Enter the stop frequency value via the figure key, and press the touchscreen to select the frequency
unit.
Set center frequency and span
a) Press

→ [Center Freq] ;
b) Enter the center frequency with the figure key, and select the frequency unit on the touch screen;
c)
Press [Span];
d) Enter the span value via the figure key, and press the touchscreen to select the span unit.

Setting span quickly
Set the span quickly by the following steps:

b) Input the span value with the numeric keys and select the span unit in the touch screen;
Section 3 Amplitude/Ruler Setting
This Section describes the detailed settings of the measurement amplitude in the antenna and cable test
mode of S5105D/E/F Microwave

Set amplitude
The amplitude is used to set the scale of the vertical part of the grid displayed, so as to better observe
the test trace details via reasonable scaleplate setting. Scale and format setting determine the display
mode of the measurement data on the screen.
[Top]
Display the maximum scale in the top position of the vertical part of the display grid within the range of
-499.9dB - +500dB.
[Bottom]
Display the maximum scale at the top of the vertical portion of the grid, ranging from -500dB to
+499.9dB.
[Auto Scale]
Press the [Auto Scale], the microwave analyzer automatically selects the vertical scale according to the
measured data so that the active track is better displayed in the vertical grid of the screen, but the
stimulus value is not affected and only the scale value and the reference value are changed.
