operations are as follows:
a)
Press

.
b)
Enter the frequency value with numeric keys.
c)
Complete the center frequency setting in frequency units.

Set Measurement Power Range
The scale range refers to the amplitude display range of the dial, and only determines the observation
range of the dial mode, and does not affect the actual measurement value and range. By setting the
scale range, the measurement results are located near the middle of the scale range for easy
observation.
The instrument provides three scale settings: manual setting, automatic scale and full scale.
Manual setting
Determine the scale range by setting the maximum and minimum values of the scale, and operations
perform as follows:
Max
a)
Press
【
Amplitude
】
→ [Max Scale].
b)
Enter the maximum value with the numeric keys.
c)
Select the corresponding power unit to complete the input in the touch screen.
Min
a)
Press
【
Amplitude
】
→ [Min Scale] .
b)
Enter the minimum value with the numeric keys.
c)
Select the corresponding power unit to complete the input in the touch screen.
Auto scale and full scale settings
The auto-scale function of scale automatically adjusts the measurement power display range based on
the measured power level so that the measurement result is in the middle of the scale range. The
corresponding operation is as follows:
a)
Press
【
Amplitude
】
→ [Auto Scale] .
The full scale setting function can adjust the display measurement range to the maximum scale range
(-30 - 70dBm), and the corresponding operation is as follows:
b)
Press
【
Amplitude
】
→ [Full Scale] .

Set Relative Measurement Function
The relative measurement function reflects the power change that has been set as the reference signal.
When the relative measurement function is turned on, the instrument automatically records the current
power value, and then displays the measured power value against the recorded value, and the change
in power value is expressed in dB and %. For example, when the relative measurement function is
turned on, the signal power is 5dBm. If the signal power is reduced to 2dBm, the instrument reading is
displayed as -3dB 50%. The corresponding operation is as follows:
a)
Press
【
Amplitude
】
→ [Relative Off On] to switch to [Relative Off On] .
Turn on the relative measurement function and the power reading will display 0dB and 100%. For
example, to measure a signal with a power of 5dBm, when the relative measurement function is turned
on, then the signal power is reduced to 2dBm. At this time, the power readings are displayed as -3dB
and 50%.

Set Offset Function
If the measured power of the device under test is greater than the maximum power value that can be
measured by the instrument, the attenuator can be connected to reduce the measured power within the
normal measurement range. The power offset function can set an offset value to offset the attenuation
