→[M Cal]→[Resp. & Iso S21]→[Iso], as shown in Figure 14, connect
the anode-anode or cathode-cathode test cable to Port 1 or Port 2, connect the LOAD at the
end of the cable to the other port, and finally press [Iso] to complete isolation calibration;
7) Remove the LOAD connected at the end of the cable to the other port, use the cable to connect
Port 1 and Port 2. and press [THRU] to complete S21 THRU measurement;
8) Press [Swp/Setup]→[Swp Once], wait for the completion of one sweep, press
[Peak]→[Advance], find the difference of the band according to the performance test log sheet
and based on the frequency band, use it as the transmission tracking index of Port 2, and fill in
corresponding column of the test log sheet;
10 Dynamic range
Description:
Dynamic range refers to the difference between the maximum power output from the port
of the vector network analyzer and the measurement sensitivity of the port. The unit is dB. The larger the
value is, the better the index is.
It is to test the dynamic range index of Port 1 and Port 2 after calibration and error correction in the
vector network analyzer mode.

b) Testing steps
1) Press
【
Mode
】
→[Vector Network Analyzer] to set the working mode to vector network analyzer
mode;
2) Based on the model of the instrument, set its start frequency to 2MHz or 50MHz and stop
frequency to its upper limit, and press
【
Amplitude
】
→[Power]→[High] to set the port output
power to high, IF BW to 10Hz, and points to 401;
3) Press
【
Calibrate
】
→[Cal Kit] to select the correct calibration kit, then press [M Cal]→[Resp. &
Iso S12], as shown in Figure 4-15, use the test cable to connect Port 1 with Port 2, and
finally press [THRU] to complete THRU measurement;
4) Loosen the cable at one port, connect the LOAD at the end of the cable to the other port, and
press [Iso] for isolation calibration;
5) After the completion of response and isolation calibration, press [Swp/Setup]→[Swp Once],
wait for the completion of one sweep, and change the scale according to circumstances to
make the test curve readable;
6) Press [Peak]→[Advance], find the maximum reading according to the test log sheet and based
