Connection to the electrical system
Carry out the following steps:
If cables are routed over sharp edges or in bending radiuses too small for the
cables, the cables may be damaged.

If cables are routed over sharp edges or in bending radiuses too small for the cables,
the cables may be damaged.
1. Connect the positive voltage supply cable with the terminal (4) identified by "+“,
Figure 5.3 Supply voltage connection
2. Connect the negative voltage supply cable with the terminal (3) identified by "-“,
Ex works, there is no connection from the primary supply connections to the
housing of the equipment rack. Thus, all the equipment racks must be grounded
for safety reasons.
An incorrectly connected grounding cable can cause a short circuit, e.g. if the
voltage source requires grounding on the positive terminal, the grounding cable,
however, is connected to the terminal marked with "-".
➔
As an overvoltage protection and lightning arrester, it is mandatory that one terminal
of the supply circuit be grounded.
➔
Connect the grounding cable to the terminal marked with "+" if the voltage source
requires grounding on the positive terminal.
