Inserting the LRU
The LRU must be connected to the top hat rail.
Figure 4.12 shows the position of the LRU on the top hat rail .

The procedure for inserting the LRU is described below.

The network element must have been put out of operation temporarily, refer to sec-
tion 6.1 on page 133.
Carry out the following steps:
Risk of injury due to sharp edges. The component features sharp edges. Risk of
injury if you do not wear protective gloves.
