Concluding tasks
Once you have successfully completed the visual inspection via the SMT, you must
restore the proper operational state of the product.
The procedure for restoring normal operation is described below.
Proceed as follows to restore the operating condition:
Preparation:

The network element must have been put out of operation temporarily, refer to sec-
tion 6.1 on page 133.

You need the tools and aids described in section 5.9.1 .
Carry out the following steps:
1. Remove all the connected cables of the SMT.
2. Reconnect the E1 connecting cables to the RJ45 or LSA+ terminal block on the
connection panel.
3. Mount the cover of the equipment rack, refer to section5.6 on page 101.
4. Put the network element into operation again, refer to section 7.1 on page 137.

You have restored the proper operating condition of the product.
