Commissioning
Connection to the electrical system
Ring connection
The external E1 interfaces A1 and B1 (refer to Figure 5.8, are routed via an E1 relay
and serve to connect further network elements connected in the form of a ring. If one
TIB fails, the relay will be disabled and the incoming E1 connection will be switched
through directly to the next network element.

Connecting E1 (LSA+)
The procedure for connecting E1 connectors (LSA+) is described below.
Proceed as follows to connect E1 connectors (LSA+):

The connecting cables provided must comply with the site requirements.
Carry out the following steps:
If cables are routed over sharp edges or in bending radiuses too small for the
cables, the cables may be damaged.

Connect the corresponding wires of the E1 connecting cables to the terminals on
the LSA+ terminal strip(s).
