5.5 Connecting external alarms (optional)
The DIB IP (SNB1) is equipped with six external alarm inputs and six external alarm
outputs that are connected directly via the alarm input/output module, refer to Figure
5.16.
The external alarm inputs/outputs can be configured as required. The alarm inputs/out-
puts to be used can be defined through connection to the corresponding terminals. The
alarms are signalled with the corresponding severity via the external alarm outputs.
Figure 5.16 shows the external alarm inputs/outputs of the alarm input/outputs of the
alarm input/output module. The following table describes these indicators in detail.
