Commissioning
Connection to the electrical system
The E1 cables are routed to the respective TIB(s) according to the external E1 inter-
faces. The respected interfaces are switched in parallel, the connection to the E1 relay
can be made either via interfaces A1 and B1 as well as via RJ-45 or LSA+.
Figure 5.6 shows the assignment of the external E1 connections to the respective
TIB(s).

Figure 5.7 shows the pin assignment of the RJ-45 plug connector. The following table(s)
describe(s) the pin assignments in the standard configuration of the respective connect-
ing lines that are connected using RJ-45 plug connectors.
