Creating the download repository
For commissioning network elements locally via the NMC-522 DownloadManager, the
Download Repository must be created on the service computer. For this purpose, the
required directory structures must be stored on the service computer.
The procedures for this purpose are described in corresponding documents, refer to
Table 5.11.

Adapting the IP address (with more than one TIB module)
If a base station with multiple TIB/TOB network components is used, the IP addresses
of this network components must be adapted.

Adapting the IP addresses (IntelPC)
The IP addresses of the network / hardware components are identical after the respec-
tive platform image has been loaded. When network/hardware components are deliv-
ered, the platform images have already been loaded. For the initial download via the
NMC-522 DownloadManager, however, the corresponding network/hardware compo-
nents must feature a unique IP address.
The following table lists the standard IP addresses assigned to the network compo-
nent(s) when the platform image is loaded.
If a base station with multiple TIB/TOB network components is used, the IP addresses
of all the other TIB/TOB must be adapted. Otherwise it will not be possible to access the
respective component(s).
The following table lists the IP scheme, according to which the IP addresses of the net-
work components of base stations are to be assigned.
