Move the tailstock to the tailstock joint position by
moving the turret 1 Z-axis with rapid traverse, jog
feed, or handle feed operation.
For this operation, rapid traverse rate is clamped
at
(fine feed) to ensure safety.
When the tailstock is moved to the position where
the scribed line (marker) on the upper face of the
tailstock is aligned with the front edge of the saddle
right side cover of turret 1, the tailstock is positioned
at the joint position.

Press the TSUCLP switch.
The tailstock is unclamped and the joint pin extends
from the tailstock so that it is connected to the
saddle 1.
The indicator in the TSUCLP switch is lit.
When the tailstock is connected to the saddle 1,
the setting for "TLSTCK POS. ADJ." on the
OPERATION PANEL screen is automatically
returned from "VALID" to "INVALID".
