Releasing the Soft-overtravel Alarm
Software limit positions are set with parameters. If an axis is fed beyond its limit, an alarm occurs,
stopping axis feed.
Mori Seiki refers to this alarm as the "soft-overtravel" alarm.
If an axis is fed beyond the software limit position (set individually for each axis), an alarm number
(500, 501) is displayed.
Alarm 500
The X-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the positive direction.
Alarm 501
The X-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the negative direction.
Alarm 500
The Z-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the positive direction.
Alarm 501
The Z-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the negative direction.
Alarm 500
The B-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the positive direction.
Alarm 501
The B-axis has been moved beyond stored stroke limit 1 in the negative direction.
<To release the alarm state>
1)
Read the alarm number and message displayed on
the screen.
2)
Place the DOOR INTERLOCK key-switch in the
NORMAL
position.
3)
Close the front door.
4)
Press the HEAD CHANGE switch
(head 1) or
(head 2) to select the required turret.
