5)
Select any of the following modes with the MODE
selection switch.
(handle)
(jog)
(rapid traverse)
6)
Move the saddle 2 to the position where the tailstock
can be connected with the saddle 2 by moving the
Z-axis with rapid traverse, jog feed, or handle feed
operation.
7)
Press the TSUCLP switch and the TSTMOD switch
simultaneously.
8)
Release the TSTMOD switch and then TSUCLP
switch in order.
The tailstock is unclamped and the joint pin extends
from the tailstock so that it is connected to the
saddle 2.
The indicator in the TSUCLP switch is lit.
If the indicator in the TSUCLP switch is not lit
when the above operation is executed, the
following message is displayed on the screen.
"EX0380 TAILSTOCK CLAMP/UNCLAMP TIME
OVER"
In this case, follow the procedure below.
1.
Press the
(RESET) key to clear the
alarm state.
2.
Repeat steps 6) to 8) again.
