Key Input Buffer Area
The data entered using the data entry keys are first
entered to the buffer area, called the key input buffer. The
data in the buffer area is displayed in the lower part of the
screen.
The ">" symbol is displayed at the head of the data to
identify that the data is entered using the keys. At the end
of the data, the underline cursor is displayed to indicate
the next data entry position.
<Procedure to edit the data in the key input buffer area>
1)
Press the
(SHIFT) key.
2)
Move the data entry position using the cursor control keys
and
.
The underline cursor is displayed at the data entry position.
If the cursor control key
is pressed, the data entry position is moved in reverse by
one letter.
If the cursor control key
is pressed, the data entry position is moved forward by
one letter.
3)
Repeat steps 1) and 2) and move the data entry position where the data is to be edited.
4)
Edit the data.
If the data is entered using the data entry keys, a letter above the underline cursor and
the letters after its letter are written over.
If the
(CAN) key is pressed, the letters before the underline cursor are cleared in
reverse.
