9.1 Prepare for Disassembly
9.1.1 Tools
During parts disassembly and replacement, the following tools may be required:
Metric Allen wrench (2.5#, 3#, 4#, 5# and 8#)
Phillips screwdriver
Diagonal pliers
Flathead screwdriver
Metric M3 and M4 socket screwdriver
Adjustable wrench
Tweezers
M16 nut installation clamp(0621-J26-1)
9.1.2 Preparations
Before disassembly,
Make sure that the anesthesia machine is turned off and disconnected from the AC
power source.
Bleed down the gas pressure inside the anesthesia machine as described below.
Disconnect all pipeline and cylinder gas supplies.
Prepare the tools required for disassembly.
Maneuver the anesthesia machine to an appropriate location and then apply the brake.
CAUTION
The internal parts may be contaminated after long term use. Wear special gloves
during disassembly and inspection.
