review
Open an image file to enter the image review mode. In this mode, you can perform the
same operations as what you can do in 3D image viewing mode.
5.11.5 4D
4D provides continuous, high volume acquisition of 3D images.
Make sure to perform 4D imaging with an appropriate 4D-compatible probe—4CD4s. Only
if the current probe is an effective one, can the system enters 4D imaging mode. During
the scanning, the probe performs the scanning automatically.
5.11.5.1 Basic Procedures for 4D Imaging
1. Select the appropriate probe and connect it to the ultrasound system (the leftmost
port). Make sure there is sufficient gel on the probe for scanning.
Tips: if the current probe doesn’t support 4D imaging, then [4D] button in the soft
menu is disabled when entered 3D/4D imaging.
2. Select the scanning probe and exam mode, and do parameter preset if necessary.
3. Obtain a 2D image. Optimize the image as usual.
4. Enter 3D/4D imaging preparation status:
z
Press the user-defined key on the control panel; or,
z
Move the cursor onto the image menu, navigate the cursor to [Other] item and
press <Set>. Select [3D/4D] in the Other menu to enter the 3D/4D imaging mode.
5. Switch to 4D imaging by clicking [4D], and define the ROI as well as curve VOI. For
details, please refer to “5.11.4.1 Basic Procedures for Smart 3D Imaging”.
To set a ROI, please try to cut the useless data as to reduce the volume data,
shortening the time for image storing, processing and reconstruction.
6. Select a parameter pack, set parameters like [Direction], [Angle], [Image Quality],
[Display Format] in the soft menu accordingly.
7. Click [Start]; or, press <Update> on the control panel to enter the 4D image real-time
displaying status.
8. Press <Freeze> key on the control panel to freeze the image. Do image cutting,
rotation, annotation, image saving if necessary. For the detailed operations, please
refer to “5.11.4.4 Smart 3D Image Viewing”.
9. Exit 4D.
Click [Exit]; or, press <ESC> button on the control panel, to exit 4D imaging.
5.11.5.2 4D Acquisition Preparation
Click [4D] on the 3D/4D page to enter 4D acquisition preparation status. In 4D imaging,
you may have to set [Quality] and [Angle] except all other items in Smart 3D imaging.
