Riempimento circuito
impianti frenanti
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato
nell’impianto frenante, oltre a
danneggiare la vernice, è
dannosissimo a contatto degli occhi o
della pelle; lavare quindi
abbondantemente con acqua
corrente la parte interessata in caso di
accidentale contatto.
Riempire i serbatoi (A) e (B) con olio
prescritto (Sez. C 2) prelevato da un
contenitore intatto.
Importante
Mantenere sempre a livello
l’olio dell’impianto durante tutta
l’operazione e lasciare l’estremità del
tubo trasparente sempre immersa nel
liquido scaricato.
Azionare diverse volte la leva o il
pedale del freno per riempire
l’impianto e spurgare l’aria.
Collegare alla valvola di spurgo (2) o
alla valvola di spurgo (4) lo spurgatore.
Note
Quando si usa un attrezzo per lo
spurgo del freno reperibile in
commercio, seguire le istruzioni
d’uso del fabbricante.
Pompare con lo spurgatore e allentare
la valvola di spurgo verificando
sempre che il livello del serbatoio
corrispondente non scenda al di sotto
del MIN.
Ripetere quest’ultima fase fino a
quando, nel tubo trasparente
collegato alla valvola di spurgo, non
appaiono più bolle d’aria.
Bloccare la valvola di spurgo (2) o (4)
alla coppia prescritta (Sez. C 3). In
caso di indisponibilità dello
spurgatore collegare alla valvola di
spurgo un tubicino in plastica
trasparente come descritto per lo
scarico dell’impianto.
Attendere qualche secondo; rilasciare
lentamente la leva o il pedale e
chiudere contemporaneamente la
valvola di spurgo (2) o (4).
Filling the brake circuits
Warning
Brake fluid will damage painted
surfaces if spilled on them. In
addition, it will cause severe injury if
spilled on the skin or into your eyes.
In the event of accidental contact
with skin or eyes, wash the affected
area with abundant running water.
Fill the reservoirs (A) and (B) with
specified brake fluid (Sect. C 2) from
a sealed container.
Caution
During the next operation, the
fluid level must remain topped up at
all times. The end of the transparent
plastic tubing must remain immersed
in the discharged fluid at all times.
Operate the brake lever (or pedal)
several times to let the fluid reach all
points of the circuit and expel any air.
Connect the bleeder to bleed valve (2)
or (4).
Note
If you are using a commercial
bleeder, follow the manufacturer's
instructions.
Pump with the bleeder and slacken
the bleed valve. Ensure the fluid level
in the reservoir you are filling never
drops below the MIN level.
Repeat the bleeding operation until air
bubbles are no longer visible in the
plastic tube connected to the bleed
valve.
Tighten the bleed valve (2) or (4) to
the specified torque (Sect. C 3). If you
do not have a brake bleeder available,
connect a length of transparent
plastic tubing to the bleed valve as
outlined in the draining procedure.
Open the bleed valve (1/4 of a turn)
and operate the brake lever (or pedal)
several times until the fluid starts
coming out of the bleed valve.
Pull the lever or pedal fully in and
slacken the bleed valve by at least
one fourth of a turn.
Allow several seconds and then
release the lever (or pedal) gradually
and close the bleed valve (2) or (4).
